Do people still use IDEs? I've worked as a web dev for years and the only person I know who used an IDE was an older DBA. Honestly just learning how to run and compile shit from the CLI is the most direct way to learn to program, and not that hard. VSCode is free? I learn this way both on my own, bootcamp, and now in grad school. Only older YT videos suggested Eclipse and such |
