Linkedin is a walled garden. They make it really hard to use "their data" - the professional profiles of their users - outside their ecosystem, which makes sense as their business model optimises to sell Linkedin Recruiter Licences. The fact that professional identities live in a closed ecosystem prevents real innovation to happen on top of the network. |
