Reminds me of when I interviewed for an internship at Fidessa in London back in 2011-ish. I remember the team lead talking about an in-house programming language they used called FidessaC which used a mixture of C and SQL syntax. Seems like a lot of the banking world like to invent their own tech stacks. |
