there is a saying, you may think you are intelligent but you are only as intelligent as what your student is able to learn from you. it's basically "beautiful mind" syndrome, and it's steeped deeply in ego. now if on the other hand that teacher is coming from a place where it was hard for him, he probably has a sense of empathy and is willing to teach. |
