Calories from drinks are a good example of stuff with a very different balance between calories and satiety, the carbs in drinks don't really create a feeling satiety even if consumed in huge amounts but do provide loads of energy. Eating 500 calories worth of non-starchy vegetables, on the other hand, would be much harder, because you would feel stuffed. |
