It's a joke that's sort of open to interpretation. The most straightforward is, "I just want do this incredibly simple thing; why is it so hard?" But there's also the level of, "Googlers are so engineeringly pampered that they think serving 5 terabytes is the equivalent of Hello World." And then there's another level of, "Well, isn't it? After all, this is Google and this is $YEAR." |
