While's meant to be tongue-in-cheek, it has a serious implication: I’m a believer in voting with your dollar which is why we built a something that shows consumers the direct role they play in our economy.

About us: GIST shows you what your friends really own so you know what to buy online. Our product GIST creates a trust layer for online product discovery, backed by verified purchases and true identities.

We're based in San Francisco and founded by E-Commerce veterans: Founder Walter Haas (Stanford BA, Harvard MBA) is the former CMO of Ron Johnson's Enjoy. CTO Jeff Tam (Stanford BS), is the former Head of Product and Engineering at DTC powerhouse ThirdLove. We're backed by CEO of Levi's Chip Bergh, Founder of Triller Jaeson Ma, Creative Director of Apple Tom Suiter, and Kleiner Perkins and Accel Scout Funds.
