Only dumb if the interview actually measures something and can reliably discriminate between people who can add value and those who can’t. Tech interviews are more like a hazing than a data-backed objective process. Have we given up on the idea of “full stack” programmers? Or is the realm of web development now so overly-specialized that we need to push the idea that there’s no way to cross over? |
