While it appears at first glance to be terrible, it is a tradeoff that is possibly worth making. My first year of undergrad was spent living in a "forced triple" (3 people in a dorm room meant for 2). I would have much preferred a single room even if it meant no windows. Certainly would have led to more productivity and sanity. |
