Teenage Engineering had previously been victims of their own success. They openly admitted that the reason why their prices are so eye-wateringly high — at least with another product of theirs, the OP-1 synth emulator — is because they can’t produce in high enough supply, and they got fed up with seeing scalpers / touts buying up all their stock and selling it on at twice the price. |
