I'll add that cryptography is such a complex topic it is widely known you should never "roll out your own encryption". (sources: 12,000,000 of them on Google) theoretically there could be flaws in any component, including even stolen root certificates, or super computers, even quantum computers. it comes down to price of the safe vs. value inside. |
