Ignoring all of the debates about business strategy etc, if you assume you'd be able to use the device for about 5-years before replacing it, this is effectively raising the price from $399 to $779 without adding any additional appealing features. I've considered splurging on one of these and resisted at $400. Nearly $800 seems like a huge stretch. |
