Well, yeah. And I think that's ultimately why they bumped it up to 11, because they wanted to drop support for older hardware. Even if Windows 10 was going to be the "last version" of Windows, it would be insane to believe that it would continue to support all hardware forever. That being said, the cutoff line for Windows 11 CPU support does seem to be a bit higher than necessary. But I don't know all of the reasoning behind why they chose the point that they did. |
