Maybe modular SOC? Have motherboards with a standardized pinout but the CPU has RAM/GPU soldered on. You could choose a CPU with productivity graphics performance, HTPC performance or high end gaming performance with associated different RAM sizes. Time to short Corsair/G.SKILL/etc. |
