We've banned this account for posting flamewar comments and using HN primarily for ideological battle. That's not allowed here, regardless of ideology, because it destroys what this site is supposed to be for.

California's education system is also below average, so evidence that their children are also reduced in IQ as a result would be pretty unflattering.

I think IQ is one of those measures that's okay for the general population but pretty bad for individuals.

A lowering trend of IQs over the years means a lot more than one random person taking a test.
