I've always wondered why Apple doesn't make those, and some cleaning spray too: the screens they make are really sensitive, and expensive, and I bet people often leave unexpected marks on them by trying to clean up

I take it you haven't heard about Apple's long-standing problem with anti-reflective coatings flaking off their macbook screens.

Just yet another defect they won't admit to publicly or do a recall over. You have to find out about the secret recall, before it's discontinued...

I know about this: I used the recall once on a 2014 mbp, but maybe should twice now since the replacement screen shows some signs too after a few years...
I was about to get the recall but had an accident. I replaced the screen out of pocket, but it's stripped of the anti-reflection coating. Works well.
The original iPhone came with a black, screen-sized microfiber cloth.
Pretty sure my MacBook pro from 2009 did as well.
