> Whenever a movie says “based on a true story,” it’s likely to be fictionalizing large chunks of the story without sufficient validation, for dramatic, political, or other purposes. A lot of the theories in this TV series turn out to be bullshit. Ironically, John Hanke went off to found Niantic as a startup within Google and launched it's first augmented reality game called Ingress on this fictionalized premise. |
