That said, Seattle is actually quite small in comparison to the Seattle metropolitan area, because Seattle is surrounded by lots of satellite cities: Kenmore, Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland (yes, the Costco Kirkland), Everett, Tacoma, etc. So if you're more conservative and want a city government that is also more conservative, you can live in Bellevue or Redmond (and for some reason still reply to every thread online about Seattle politics complaining about it like it affects you.) |
