npm was about 6 years old and im pretty sure a lot of corporates have adopted node by then. I don't think it has so much to do with quality but rather we like to re-invent shiny "new" wheels and then the new tooling must iron out all the corner cases. https://github.com/npm/npm/issues/11283 |
