Ask HN: Do you feel that mindfulness meditation doesn't help you?

It really needs to be coupled with something else to work. I find that the Pop meditation currently being peddled as a way to boost mood and productivity doesn't really help when the person needs therapy and/or exercise. Talking to all the anxious people in my life who try it, it only seems to exacerbate their negative emotions.
