The opt-in part is clearly being missed and is a huge piece of the equation. All chat isn't a problem if you didn't explicitly go into the menu to turn it on in the first place... this also means there is a convenient way to turn it back off. For me, this all amounts to virtue signaling by Riot towards the broader community regarding their ongoing war against toxicity. |
