Yeah this is the problem more generally with the legal system both in my home country of England but especially in the US. As one hn user put it so perfectly recently "the process is the punishment". I think a lot of people in the software bubble don't realize what a huge sum even $100 is for the average person, the law only affords power and protection to the rich and already powerful. |
