I thought this until I tried an app with IAP and wanted a refund when it didn't work for me. The developer told me they had no way to issue one on their side since I went through IAP. Apple support gave me the runaround before eventually saying they don't do refunds, even when I showed emails from the developer saying they supported refunding me. Apple is not pro-consumer. IAP is convenient, but I don't think Apple is truly motivated by the customer as much as they are charging a tax. |
