iOS 7 was absolutely huge at the time, it was Apple shifting away from skeuomorphism and the industry soon followed. Granted, Google Material Design seemed to have been independently invented in the same timeframe, but iOS 7 led the charge. For good or for ill, iOS 7 is not to be discounted for its significance. |
