Show me any other platform that allows one to easily build, distribute, and run long-running p2p services that communicate strongly typed data over the wire, or any strong decentralized identity system that can even begin to go toe-to-toe with Urbit.

Thanks, this is interesting. I enjoy looking at these sorts of projects and their approaches.
Does holochain fit your criteria at all?
It’s certainly in the genre of projects I find interesting. I personally like Urbit’s approach more, but I do check in on Holochain intermittently.
