Quite a good read. Development in the world of eyeglasses seems as slow then as it is now. There are no major innovations in eyeglasses, probably due to the monopoly by luxottica. Eyeglasses today have pretty much leveled out at slim lenses with blue light filter. Admittedly, they're pretty nice (Cryzal in particular). The best frames I have seen let you drop in different sets of lenses (oakley switch series). |
