"White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane. But that's probably because I've watched the Matrix Resurrections trailer about 40 times now. Outside of that... I'll just say that I just redid the song selection I carry on my mp3 player for bike riding / running / lifting and switched up the selection a bit. There's now less brutal death metal and black metal, and more thrash metal, glam metal, and traditional heavy metal. In the process of doing that I picked up a few new albums by bands that I had not listened to extensively in the past, like Tygers of Pan Tang, and Blazon Stone. I highly recommend both bands to anybody who likes metal. |

In the context of what I was talking about above, I find that this kind of stuff is, for my tastes, better for endurance sports like bike riding and running. I still enjoy listening to death metal, black metal, grindcore, etc. of course, but for working out I have found that I prefer something with more of a "groove" as opposed to just a non-stop acoustic assault at TEMPO = BPM = MAX_INTVAL. That and understandable lyrics that prompt more of an emotional reaction.
