It's fictional for Verizon as well. Check the corridor from San Antonio to El Paso along I-10. I regularly get zero service along that path for dozens of miles at various points. And, it's not even the fault of towers--there is some weird "roaming" agreement in that area so Verizon doesn't want to carry the calls but still wants credit for that being "in coverage". |
