OP here - fortunately my meeting load isn't as absurd as some place, since this company figured out "remote work" long before COVID forced it upon people who don't know how to go 10 minutes without a meeting. I join most of my Hangouts and Zooms as an avatar, using a virtual webcam from within the software. If it's personal, sensitive, or requires more professionalism, I'll still "resurface" and use a regular webcam - but it's a special occasion. |
