I used a reMarkable 1 for my stint in grad school and it was invaluable. A PDF reader that wasn't hard on the eyes. I also really appreciated reMarkable's syncing software that let me see the notes I made on a laptop without the lag of eink. That said, it seems clear that the reMarkable team is not focused on the "taking notes on PDFs" use case. It works pretty well just because reMarkable is a good reading and handwriting platform, but it could be a lot better. |
