Actually, people do. But it's not terribly fine-grained. SharePoint offers version control of MS Office documents and is used in many businesses as an improvement over shared drives and files named: Foo_Report_v3_FINAL_20210928_FINAL_DRAFT_FINAL.xlsx I don't think you get branching with SharePoint, though. |
