All depends on the cost and the timescale. You can do both of those things, and while neither could be built at a scale to be a complete substitute overnight, they’re probably both faster to build than modern nuclear plants. (I’d go for these and nuclear myself, but nuclear isn’t generally popular and I don’t see that changing). |
