One more thing to note is that China doesn't have much oil, natural gas and other resources on its own, and it is very hard to get any to it by any other way than by sea - otherwise it's combination of Siberia, Himalayas, deserts and neighbors that hate China. China has enormous manufacturing capacity, but rather fragile supply to make use of it should the seas around it become warzones. |
