Is this could be a great idea?

Recently i joined a new team working on an e-commerce website for a big company, we use Bitbucket Cloud for version control and Microsoft Teams for communication.

First thing i had to do is to fix some minor bugs so i fixed them after that i opened a pull request, what was surprising for me is the time it takes (2 days) to have my pull request validated and merged, so by curiosity i asked my tech lead about that he said sometimes when he receives email from Bitbucket to review some PRs he simply ignores it because maybe he didn’t have space at that time. And i was like it’s easy it should be some bitbucket and microsoft teams integration app that can helps us to solve this issue, indeed we found it and we gave it a try it was working fine every time someone open a PR we get notified to do the review but it didn’t solve the problem, why ? Because we receive the notifications and if we ignore it because of bad timing we don’t have any kind of reminders to do so. And really this was the real issue for us and we didn’t find a way to solve it til now.

This weekend i was thinking why not building it my self and maybe share it with other developers having same issue what do you think is it a great idea ? I need your feedbacks, And I built a simple landing page to collect some developers emails for the beta version if you think that it could solve your issue you could leave your email to get notified when the beta is released.

Need screenshots or a demonstration. I can see that it offers notifications and reminders, but according to you they will get ignored? Insights and stats, not sure if it will help the individual employees to actually get on with the PRs, and I don't think getting a badge or whatever will help.

It is a good idea, but you need to show what it offers and how it solves the problem better.

i got your point and i'm totally agree with you screen shots or demonstration video will help, for the insights and stats wouldn't be nice to know how much PR still pending in a workspace, your PRs that's still open and stuffs like these ?
I'm not really following this idea - we use github, not bitbucket, but when I get a break and am ready to look at PRs, I just go to the list of open PRs in the repo and run through them. Does bitbucket not have that kind of list?
Hey,

Bitbucket also have a list of PRs like github but what bitbucket is missing is this => https://docs.github.com/en/organizations/organizing-members-... Sometimes when the team has a lot things and features to work on they end up ignoring PRs of their colleagues which require everytime the techlead to notify the devs to do so and this is the main issue that pullthunder will solve in addition to some other features.

Hi, there's someone who did a talk at microconf that could be useful to you (PullReminder): https://youtu.be/t_uSYaInXxk

All the best,

Thanks buddy PullPanda did the same thing we trying to achieve with bitbucket cloud.
Sounds similar to pull panda: https://pullpanda.com/ but the integration with Teams could be a solid differentiator.
I think the BitBucket part is more significant here since GitHub bought Pull Panda.

After Googling a bit I see a bunch of Slack and Teams plug-ins for GitHub and Bitbucket but perhaps this tool can work better for some people.

yeah that for sure and i believe there is many developers having same issue as me and this can help them out.
Yes it's very similar to pullpanda but for bitbucket and teams, and i plan to add some more stuffs that will helps a lot, do you have any idea suggestion for this app ?
No ideas at the moment, but I will let you know if I come up with something.
Thank you appreciate that
