Where "indentured servitudes" means "a form of labor in which a person is contracted to work without salary for a specific number of years". Yes there is a difference with actual slavery, but this is still very much the parallel he was drawing. Ergo I feel very comfortable saying that this is a very out-of-touch comparison. |
