I started out as a kid in the early 80s doing BASIC coding on computers that had to be booted from 5.25" floppy drives. We made simple maze games.

When I was 11 I use to spend a lot of time in Radio Shack playing with electronics. When I was in high school I would program games on the TI calculators.

I think my experience in the early 80s was what stuck with me. I finished a degree in Computer Engineering, and I work in FinTech today. I still love learning new things and new programming languages.

Getting an early introduction to coding had such a big impact on my life. I decided to give back.

I have been volunteering to teach coding and robotics at my daughter's school. The students really enjoy enjoy learning about these topics.
