Do you think it's an important feature for their paying customers? I think it is. A few jobs ago, the boss of my boss got fired for a cloud service overage. Not a huge amount; the number on the grapevine was around $10,000. But it was enough. For many (numerically "most," probably) companies, the IT department is a black box to upper management, and any unexpected budget overages are a serious problem. |
