Have you visited their S3 console recently? It's gotten pretty striking visual markers now for Public visibility. I don't have a screenshot handy, but thought I'd mention it

Sorry, I phrased my comment poorly.

AWS makes it clear when buckets are publicly visible. This is a good thing, and I am grateful
