Libby is really good. Unfortunately the library I was using (Philadelphia) stopped renovating cards for non-residents so I had to go back to piracy

Brooklyn Library has the largest e-book selection I've come across and you can join for $50/year if you don't live in that area. It's a really great value considering the selection and usually decent availability.

They don't allow non US residents anymore, at least they didn't when I last checked

Is it something I can share? I mean I live in a city where I've got access that I don't already use. Shoot me an email if you're interested.

The only books that I've "pirated" are ones where I own the physical copy and want to read it on a kindle later on.

Have you considered just buying a copy? With your own money and supporting the author(s)?

Idk about the GP, but I don't want to buy a hundred books a year (at list price) that I only read once or twice.
