One thing I did that helped me a lot is to set up an automatic transfer to a savings account on the day I get paid. That way I don't even see the money. I try to forget about the savings account as much as possible. I mentally file it away as "not my money". It works much better for me than trying to save at the end of the month for me anyways. |
