Don't forget that Sonos seems to be fond of forced obsolescence, though they backtracked on that one: https://www.theregister.com/2020/01/21/sonos_bricking_laudio... IIRC, Sonos also has a mandatory requirement to set up an account in order to install the speakers. IKEA should really look to cooperate with a company that is more interested in sustainability - but that's maybe a bit much to ask? |
