Ask HN: Powerful Document Workflow?

I use Google docs and sheets extensively to manage information in my business. There are number of cases were bulleted lists and spreadsheets don't offer the flexibility I'm looking for -- I want to be able to sort, search, and filter long form text, items in docs, and things in between.

Any recommended tools for meeting this need?

I have something like hn with tags and customizable input.

Spreadsheets won't work though. An example of on handlr.sapico.me , but the dataset there is a too big and the server a bit underpowered ( runs most of my dev environment too)

Eg. Input with markdown is possible

Note : running the cronjob now for adding fresh content
