Funny the author suggests defaulting to showing all apps as if it was mobile. Windows 8 tried that, didn't work out too well. I do think it would be great to unify though, maybe find a way to keep everyone happy. It would be great to just have an iPad (or any tablet device) and be able to just use a bluetooth mouse and keyboard, and be able to run any IDE, game, or app you want. As computers get more powerful, it might not even be necessary to have a full-blown desktop PC for regular personal use. |
