Here comes an unpopular opinion: Learn from it and act on it. If you are young and smart, building a business is just so much more fun than doing a normal job. Stop wasting your time. Go to twitter and search for '#buildinpublic'. Follow the journeys of other people for a while. It does not need a hundred million dollar company to outperform a regular job. Which I (genuinely) assume you are. The reality is far more nuanced than this. Building a "nice online product that brings in more than a job" is the non-trivial lede that you buried in there, and everyone working a job is not wasting their time working a job as a cog.
