I mean the story of Indiana Jones 1 is about the power of religious symbolism, nostalgia , history in general. It's not just about the actions of the plot but about how we see that era the film is set. Nazis aim to use the Ark for power, Indy wants to put in a museum, ultimately it ends up hidden again in a warehouse. I mean seems pretty meaningful statement about how knowledge is used and controlled. |
