Best start internal. Management is mostly about building and maintaining good relationships. You already have accumulated social capital and good karma in the existing company. Leverage it to pivot to management. As an added bonus your current colleagues will be less forgiving than new ones. I’m speaking from my own experience and a few others I’ve seen do not. |
