that's the inspiration for my browser extension, Yet Another Speed Dial. it works as the new tab page but basically i use it as a visual bookmark manager. i find it way easier to scan my bookmarks as thumbnails to find what i want. it's open source and supports all the major browsers, check it out! https://github.com/conceptualspace/yet-another-speed-dial |
