We have several good Indian groceries where I live near Houston and I like to try new things, so I bought one of these brands once: Vadilal, mentioned in the post. Way too many scary ingredients; I should have read the label first. Not surprisingly, it tasted weird, too.

Back to Haagen-Daz for me!

I would recommend looking for Indian kulfi's. They are delicious and often have clean ingredients.
