It seems pretty clear that America is chomping at the bit to start some kind of conflict down there. Since the entire US military industrial complex is based upon there always having to be an enemy somewhere, it does indeed seem inevitable.

Methinks they might find China a bit more of a pushover than the likes of Iraq and Afghanistan though. Still, it'll be a novel experience for the US to take on someone who can actually fight back, for a change.

Why is it novel? War with the soviets/russians was avoided. Its was always going to be lose lose. Same with China.
