i think your droid spaceship will have to do a lot of maneuvering, in order to get into an orbit with small relative distance and velocity to the debris to be gathered. My question is: what will be the lifetime of a single droid spaceships, for how long will it last? Also, you are planning to use ion thrusters, which is really cutting edge technology; Now wikipedia mentions that starlink sattelites are using ion thrusters in order to raise and adjust orbits.
